I just had a leaky axle replaced and now I'm getting this same squeak. I initially thought it was my spare rubbing against the track bar, but I dropped my spare and the sound didn't go away however it seems like it was reduced.

My sound is a rubber squeaking like if you were walking a rubber tire sideways on a tile floor. It only happens at an extreme turn (both directions) but less than full lock. It seems to be coming from the rear passenger, not the front. I'm taking it back to the dealership to have them diagnose further. I'll get video beforehand. No one here to drive in circles right now.
A live axle vehicle will chirp on warm/hot asphalt when making a sharp turn, such as a u-turn...

Has anyone got a solid conclusion on what this could be? I have the same issue... have almost 15K miles, RCV 1 piece axles, Reid Racing knuckles, Dynatrac ball joints on KMC wheels with 40' tires.

Its definitely rotational. Could it be I just need new brakes? something needs to be greased?

Thanks ALL!

It has been hot AF in Texas this week...

I just had my axle replaced due to the leak. It's so noticeable, I know it wasn't happening before. It happens every time I turn sharp when backing out of my driveway. Only happens at 80%ish+ turn. Not a chirp, but like a squeegee on glass

Does it sound like this? I’ve noticed a rubber against metal squeak that only happens when turning sharp at slow speeds. Only on the first drive in the morning. So I’m not sure if it’s a temperature thing as the mornings have been between 60-70.

time codes for noises:

0:04-0:23
0:40-1:00
1:10-1:40
1:43-1:52

That definitely sounds similar. Interestingly I always have it after i have parked in a cool area like a parking garage for a few hours. It goes away after a few feet of driving. It seems to be rotational but doesn’t seem to speed up with speed.

My ‘21 Mojave has this same exact squeak. It happens right after starting to leave after being parked for a few hours. Goes away after a few minutes once the vehicle is warmed up.

Was anyone able to get a diagnosis? Thanks in advance!

Bump. Have the same squeaking as five.o and jeep808. Feel like it happens more with small suspension cycling for me. Mines coming from the front passenger wheel it seems.

Also have a continuous squeal from the power steering pump when turning i need to get checked out but have read it is normal operation..

I'm in the club, only cold, front axle and turning left/ right and goes within 400m. Steering pump is a possible but here in the Middle East, oils don't really get the chance to cool down!

My gladiator started doing this last week and it was incredibly frustrating. I started at the most simple solution and threw the jeep on a set of jackstands and rotated the wheels and could not get the jeep to make the high pitched intermittent squeal. From there I removed the wheels and noticed that the lower clips on the brake pads on the rear and one of the front lower brake pad clips had completely fallen apart. The metal would slide up against the rotor and squeal at low speed. Then after getting up to speed would get pushed back far enough to be quiet for a few days. I will say that Mopar did a terrible job on these brake pad clips but the mopar pads seem awesome. I have had my gladiator roughly eight months or so and put 40k miles on it. The pads looked new front and rear. I went ahead and replaced them since i needed new clips but i am sure they would have made it to 100k. Once i replaced the brake pad clips i drove the jeep all weekend and she was nice and quiet.

Had the same, had a rear shock rubbing on the body/cladding. Big scrape up and down. Went away with new offset Falcon SP2 shocks.
