I have never been happy with how wishy-washy my Mojave is while driving on the highway. It seems like the front and rear track bars fight each other, the front definitely has soft bushings. So I ordered some parts from Rock Krawler suspensions, I got one of the adjustable front track bars and decided to go with their JT Pro-X upgrade kits and rear lower X Factor series control arms.
Everything went together fine, only thing I would have done differently would have been to remove the spare tire to gain a little more space when drilling and taping the top of the rear-end housing as I'm not as young as I think I am. A second pair of hands would have saved me time also.
Definitely tightened up the road feel, no more chasing the truck to keep it straight in the lane. Next up is to change out the front control arms.

Oh to have that luxurious shop space.

What kind of parts investment was that? I've become immune to the ride on the freeways until I get into my Mini Cooper JCW she sticks to the road like a magnet. But when I get out on a windy highway my Mojave is a bear to keep in the lane.

I ordered it all from Summit for 1501 dollars and got free shipping. Luckily being in Vegas I ordered on Monday and it got here on Wednesday since it came out of their warehouse in Reno. Yes the shop space is a nice benefit of working for a offroad race team but I stayed with just using stuff I would be using back home in my garage. I plan on fabricating some plates to weld onto the RK top mount to make it more of a real rear-end housing truss setup, over the Christmas break when I get back home.

Test drove a Mojave when I bought my Gladi and really liked it a lot - except for the really loose steering. Ended up with an Overland instead. With a steering fix I’d have had that one in my garage.
