Just heard from HP tuners on the ECM unlock. They got it last Friday. Looks like they are short staffed from COVID, and they said it should ship back to me by middle of next week. Hopefully.

Hey guys, noticed this was a very recent install. I have a kit on order thru Left Coast as we speak. Does the kit come with new injectors and you just need to purchase plugs? My 2020 has almost 55k miles...

It comes with new injectors made by Bosch.

It’s a Christmas miracle. My ECM just showed up.

The installation manual breaks it down to almost a “color by numbers” level. I needed to purchase a couple of tools I didn’t have. You don’t need to be a mechanical expert to install it. You just need the ability to follow directions and time.

ETA: Any stumbling block you come across can be answered by members of this forum.

So...just to give everyone a heads up, if you have a late '21 model or newer Gladiator, the ECM is a newer model that HP Tuners does not currently support. So...maybe hold off on ordering that Maggie until you know you can load the tune to make it driveable.

Wow, this blows me away. I have tuned a number of 2021 Jeeps. They made a controller switch mid model year.

Is there a designator on the ECM to avoid or any identifier on it to know? Was getting ready to go down this rabbit hole but the news about the ECM obviously puts a damper on that.

From what I have read, if the harness connectors are on top on the ECM its not compatible...
