I have a manual Sport S, gas. You might be fine in 1 and 2. But without changing something I I think I would be very disappointed in the highway uphill ability. I have to climb hills in 4th to hold 55mph. Any longer hill is a downshift from 5 to 4. I am running the factory wheels and tires.
I plan to go to General ATX for a more aggressive tread but at this point I would never change the diameter to larger since the most miles I do are county road and state highway. I am not in aggressive off road situations but I do end up on dirt and mud some weekends.
this may not be an issue for the automatics, but it is my biggest complaint in the manual truck. Are the automatics always gear hunting On hills?
The stock clutch can barely keep from overheating on stock tire sizes, i would expect worse even with a regear, that just a lot of rotational mass to get started. I would add a after market clutch to you list of items.
