Only seen one fail. Replaced at 7k miles in a mojave after he got stuck in the mud, then pulled someone out while in reverse. Destroyed the clutch, unavoidable with any clutch, got jeep to cover it though.Exactly. I am concerned about towing any amount of weight with it. But mine still hasn't exploded through the floor. When this one wears out and I replace it, definitely going aftermarket, and I wouldn't be as hesitant to tow a trailer afterwards. That's why I asked if you'd seen anything increase in problems coming in now that they're getting older. Guys who are turning the wrenches are going to be the guys to give the best honest opinion on a mechanical subject.
