Hello all, wanting to do a 3.5” lift in my 2022 JTR. Trying to avoid replacing the driveshaft, what is the maximum extended shock length to avoid the driveshaft having issues? Seems like somewhere in the 28.5-29.0” range may be acceptable?
I don’t offroad much if at all, and don’t really expect to be at full droop. If I offroad I imagine it would be forest service/seasonal roads and basic overlanding. Not full flexed out rock crawling.

28" is typically safe. Longer than that you will deform the flange on the TC end of the driveshaft. Mine extend to 28.5 and it has deformed the flange playing in the rocks, but no permanent damage yet.

Perfect timing!
That's exactly what I was wondering.
I just ordered the Bilstein 5100 3.5" shocks and Teraflex 3.5" lift springs/kit.
I'll also add the Core 4x4 Camp series adjustable control arms and track bars, front and rear, to correct pinion angle.
Probably some brake line relocation brackets just to be safe.

Hopefully, that's all I need to do for awhile.
