We are in process of loading it to the site. Give us a call if you need it sooner.
Is the updated version of this bracket available yet? If so, can you provide a link to purchase?

Not yet available. We just reopened after a 2-month stay at home order. All manufacturing was paused during that time. I expect another few weeks before the new revision is complete. For now our current mount will hold up to: a pair of 425cc Viair pumps

When the bracket is available can you post the link? I don't see either bracket on the Maximus website. Also what is the price of the bracket?

I’ll do an install thread once I get it in. I’m adding an up-down air 4 corner kit and a set of Kleinn air horns at the same time.
I'm in the process of installing their cradle with a pair of 400C's.

I also looked at the UpDown Air system but can't justify the cost for what's included in the kit. My buddy has a fiber laser and we'll knock out a panel for the pressure regulator, gauges and switch for a fraction of what they want for their system. I put together the whips and quick disco's for each corner for about $60.

I might be going a bit overboard with the setup though as I’m installing a distribution block with a main shut off solenoid. It’s all cheap stuff off of Amazon though.

Is that the gen 1 or gen 2 cradle and how much did it cost you?

Do you plan to a write up and parts list for anyone interested? I want to do a similar set up and was also thinking about the airupdown so I’m really interested in what you have going on here.

This is the Gen 2 if I’m not mistaken. Their first design had the compressors on either side of the tank.
There will be a Youtube video of this once up and operational along with a parts list. Here’s a shot of the acrylic overlay we’re messing with. SUPER rough design right now though.

Nice! I can’t wait to see what you come up with because like I said this is my path forward. My only problem is I might have to go the updownair route because I don’t have the fab tools like you. So no custom route for me.

Is the gen 2 bracket finally for sale? How much was it?

Oh yeah, sorry; I spoke to Ivan who said they are a few weeks out on starting production again but that they still had a few of these Gen. 2 cradles laying around the shop. It was $250 which seems a little steep but seeing the quality of this thing in person explains the cost.

Good to know, I might reach out and see if they have any left. If not no biggie I’ll just wait for more to come in and replenish the savings account :)

Curious about the durability and strength the tank sitting next to a muffler. The VIAIR website says the air tank temp. rating is "+ 176 degrees". Not sure if + just means that's as high as they tested it but he muffler with get a heck of a lot hotter than that. I read on other posts that the metals are not made for continued high heat exposures over and over again.

Any thoughts on this? Anyone with some valuable input that would quell my nerves and convince me that it's ok to go forward with this type of installation?

Mine arrived last week, looks great. I haven't installed it yet as we have been in the "hundred-and-teens" for the past week in AZ.

There is a heat shield that comes with the kit to wrap part of the exhaust.

Good to know. That heat shield wraps over the exhaust... or is it on the side of the cradle to deflect heat from the exhaust? If it actually goes on the exhaust I suppose I could also buy some to put on the side of the cradle.

On your gen 2 cradle, does it look like there’s enough room to mount the 2 ARB compressor, as opposed to two of the VIAIR compressors?

A review of the instructions indicates that the heat shield will wrap around the exhaust pipe between the muffler and the cat.

My VIAIR pumps are about 10" long, they will fit side by side in the cradle, and they utilize the majority of the room. I have the VIAIR model 20020 with Dual 444C compressors. I am not familiar with the ARB compressor(s) you have, there is about 12" of room between the 2.5 gallon tank and the end of the bracket.
