Can it be an option to have an add-on cross beam (U-shape) at the very end of the lower lateral bars that's leveled with the front cross bar? Maybe a quick release set-up for when you need a full rack for kayaks, tents, and more but can be removed when you want just look cool 90% of the time...;)

I have very good news for all of you who are waiting on the Overland rack. I finally bit the bullet on another rack. I love this rack and waited as long as I could, but life must go on. The good news is that now that I have bought another rack, I'm sure this one will be available next week. You're welcome.

I really don't want to junk up Maximus-3's thread talking about another rack. I may start another thread to talk about it. Just tried to add a little levity to this thread.

I'm beginning to think that maximus-3 is just a few people behind computers placing photos and creating hype....I even asked a question about a gladiator t-shirt (instead of the wrangler one they sell) on their website the other day and all they said was they are working on other things at the moment and are not sure when one would be avail...….crickets on all production availability...even on the website. I know that COVID has put thing behind schedule, but since COVID started I've been able to finish a building design tender, tender the construction on a 21,000 sq ft building and begin construction...so not sure what the rouble is...maybe large construction projects are less complicated that the fabrication:lipssealed:

These racks have been meticulously engineered for many months. These racks are lightyears ahead of anything out there.
Just wait and see.

I forgot that this was supposed to be fast & easy during a global pandemic.. (sarcasm)

Production is cranking.
