I have been a big fan of MetalCloak for years as I have buddies that have their systems on their rigs and they love them. But I finally got the wife to agree to an entry level kit to build off of and my Budget is around 1.5k so I’m trying to take advantage of the Holiday sales. I currently have a JTR gasser running 35s and a Tera Flex 1.5 leveling kit. I’m looking at the MetalCloak True Dual rate kit or the Clayton Ride Right 3.5” kit. MC has free shipping plus the holiday/military discount which falls under budget with their RockSport shocks. But the Clayton kit would also need new shocks with the Clayton kit doesn’t include them so that puts them a little out of my budget! As I right now I don’t do any hauling in my JT but am a little concerned about the rear sagging I’ve heard about with the MC rear springs. Also I live in Florida so I don’t flex it as you would being out West or in the Mountains, but it’s on my bucket list so a new front driveshaft isn’t on my immediate list. Help me decide or help sway me in a direction. Either way I don’t think I would be disappointed regardless which one I choose!
