Keep us posted on what you hear back if you hear from them. I am holding off on purchasing until I hear more review from people. Curious, could you clearly notice steering/general stability improvements in the jeep's handling from their track bar brace?
Its honestly a bit hard to tell for me, as we had the whole suspension and steering built at once, so its a bit difficult to see what good changes came from where… wish I could be more help, sorry!

I Will say that overall my handling has improved over stock though.

Had a reputable local shop in town install this brace. Unfortunately, it caused a bad creaking sound from the 11-1 position of steering, and kept the steering wheel from returning to center. The shop that installed it adjusted it twice before we decided to remove it. The tech said their instructions provided no torque specs or drilling template for the plate mount.

Unless there wasn’t some mistake here that caused the brace to behave like this, I couldn’t recommend it. @Metalcloak do you know what may have caused this issue? I really liked the design of this brace and I wish we could have got it to work. I’m running your track bar reenforcement bracket and love it, have no issues there.
On 2021+ diesels the crossmember is slightly different height. Flipping the bushing solves the problem.

Instructions specify this and give a torque spec - shop may have missed that.

I’ll pass this info onto them, thank you!

I just installed the Metalcloak brace on my diesel JT. I expected the bushing to remain stationary and support the new pitman arm nut. My bushing, which is installed correctly for the diesel, spins with the nut and spins in the support bracket. is that how it is supposed to work?

@unixxx liked a bunch of my posts in here with the bad review of the sector shaft brace, so I need to provide an update:

This last week I reinstalled the brace with the new warrantied out bushing metalcloak sent me. My original bushing must have been faulty, as this one is buttery smooth and works perfectly.

@Metalcloak thank you for getting this figured out for me! 10/10

People Work?
Mine has been in a couple of months now and it's flawless so far.
Very pleased.
I think taking time and installing correctly is vital.

glad to read you were able to get the install hammered out.

If you can, let us know what your thoughts are after a week or two of use. Im always looking at ways to tighten up steering and have been wondering about this. Im nearly out of my 100k warranty and would be willing to try it after that point if its worth it.

I’m 4000 miles since my Metal Cloak sector shaft brace install and zero issues. It’s been pretty snowy here this winter so lots of salt on the road, no issues with corrosion and the bearing is still smooth.
