Just got my new Method Racing Wheels (17x8.5) and BF KO2's (315/70R17) on my Gladiator. Love this combo. I was able to put these wheels and tires on, and keep the weight at a near wash, from the factory Rubicon setup (87 vs 88 lbs per corner). Huge shout out to Don and the Discount Tire team. They were fantastic to work with. No other real mod's other than SS step rails, bed cover and tinted windows. Next addition is a clear bra for the grill.

RodRecket I went with a "zero" offset. No rubbing.
I really like these wheels, have you noticed how close you come to touching skid plate at full lock? I'm running 37's Toyos M/T and thinking if I'll rub running this setup.

I have not measured that. I can take a look over the weekend.

Was curious if you installed the level kit or completely stock suspension. I also have a red Rubicon and just bought some Method 8.5 x 17 with 0 offset. If this combo works with no rubbing issues at full articulation that would be great!

Yes, my setup is stock with no rubbing (17x8.5 zero offset...315/70R17). I worked with the Discount Tire team in advance to properly spec and size what I wanted. Don and the local team were both great. Super fast as well. I did not want to add any additional kits so I was very conscious of what I added.

My only gripe is gas mileage. I thought by keeping the weight pretty close to factory I could keep my mileage about the same but I now average around 15/16 mpg. I was closer to 18 mpg before. On flat highway you wont see any downshifting. That said, if you drive through any hills it will drop down. If you want a stiffer ride, I would do the 295's E Rated. If you want a softer ride the 315 C's are fine. You can do the 315 E's but the weight goes up significantly.

Did you adjust the speedo? When i went to 37's i only lost about 2 mpg and that was 10 pounds heavier a corner than stock. Could also just need to calibrate your driving a bit to accept you're slightly slower than before.

If i try to drive like on stock on 37's i went from 15.5 to 13.5, on 39's with beadlocks 11.5, but accepting i'm slow and just accelerating leisurely i'm actually up to 15.1 lol.

The highway at 80 is where i really saw a difference, 33's at 17.5, 37's at 15.7, 39's at 14.5

Thank you sir, good information. I live in Florida mostly flat driving. I am more concerned about articulation, I don't want issues with rubbing or hitting the fenders when the swaybar is disconnected. Worst case scenario I could always add the teraflex leveling kit if necessary. Appreciate your quick reply.
