I Would have stayed longer but they medically retired me at twenty, it's all good I've been working as a government contractor since my retirement from the Navy.

I Left the NCR when I joined the Army and never thought it would bring me back. Now Im working for the Crayola Developers in the NCR. Great bunch of guys and gals. I have to say it, I feel like the Marines are more mission focused on the civilian side than I found on the army side. Oh yeah "GO Army Beat Navy"

25 years in the Navy. 12 enlisted then crossed over to the Dark Side and servied 13 as a Zero. 11, yes 11 deployments. Got out because they didn't have a sea billet for me.

My son has been in for 15 months. All at Benning. BCT, OCS, IBOLC, and graduates Airborne today. Ranger School is next then that Louisiana boy is headed to the 12th Mountain in NY (so his paperwork says).

Damn proud of that boy!

8 yrs Army Reserve - 63B - Light Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic and a Wrecker Operator. I drove the 5-Ton wrecker to get the Fuel Supply and Hummers with Smoke Generators out of the muck...

Ah. He is gonna love ranger school at the end. Being a team player is the biggest part of ranger school.

Her- 21 years Army. Started as clerk, out as RN. Her Jeep, she lets me drive sometimes.

Me 1970-71, Vietnam, 101st, infantry. Sent home early because of injury in bunker collapse.
