27 years, 2 months and 12 days, US Army Infantry and SF. Five combat or hostile fire zones. Retired in O5. Working as an Army civilian since then. Started my career with a Jeep M151A2 and will graduate to a Gladiator Diesel very soon.

I played in the sands of Iraq back in 03/04 as a Heavy Machinegunner (CAAT) in the Marines. Great times and the friendships are still there. Wish I could have made a career out of it, but a couple of IED's said otherwise. S/F.

1987 A.D Army Infantry Aug 02 got out of A.D. the day I buried my father. Then Army Reserve to finished in Jan 2012. Over 25 years total but 9 months short of 20 years A.D. 5 trips to SWA sand box 3 A.D, 2 Reserve, IFOR and a few other "camping trips" to places. Army Civ. since May 05. 3 DD 214s

After 13 months in sunny southeast asia decided the Corps was not the career path I envisioned and did not re-up. Was with Hg Co, Fourth Marines in Vietnam and then MP Btn, Fifth MarDiv at Camp Pendleton.

Coast Guard helicopter pilot Oct '98 to Present, but retiring next summer...planning on actually using my almost 3 months of terminal leave and taking my JT on the Transamerican Trail and exploring MOAB and the Rubicon while I am out west.
