Diesel is a different animal. This is in the 3.6 area. People have no clue when they see a temp over 200 they freak and yet - it's been normal for many decades.
I can see seeking solutions for the diesel, but for the gasser, it's really a non-issue unless there's other issues in play.

I know that once I get my JT, the warranty runs out, and if my radiator springs a leak I will lean toward putting in something that is designed with increased heat transfer in mind.
First, you have a diesel in your profile - a 2023, and people are looking at that from many different angles already in the diesel specific threads. Sounds promising over in those threads.

Half of your post is pure speculation and the age old "hate the bean counters, it's all their fault". Well, with a vehicle that's already priced at the top of the class, I doubt bean counters would have balked at another 100 to 200 bucks per vehicle. Naw, misplaced "blame" for a problem that really doesn't exist within the confines of the gasser specs.
They just don't typically over-heat.

Bringing up an older thread in a gasser area talking about diesels derating.................

You think the OE will do just fine in this heat? Even if going on trails in the middle of the desert? Serious question lol
I do.
Having lived in Ridgecrest for a good time with a jk and visiting Death Valley more than most…. I do.
If you have big tires- re gear……. This will help your trans and coolant.
If you think a radiator is going to help you on highway 190 traveling west to east from Panamint springs towards stovepipe wells….. the only thing that’s going to help is not trying to get up the pass at 70mph…..

The 3.6 runs hot already. Ran a 0w40 pennzoil platinum in our gas motors when playing in that hot of weather goes far too…
