What I don’t understand is why Jeep just didn’t drop the 5.7 in the Wrangler (and the Gladiator as well).
‘Let’s face it the 5.7 is more engine than you can possibly drive with a smaller truck. Put the 6.4 in the full size trucks. That would make a much better step from one option to another (and be more affordable for us as well...

Does anyone remember all the Jeep talk about not being able to stuff a larger engine in the Wrangler and Gladiator due to cooling issues...crickets now...

2021 New Raptor has the same V6 with some induction and exhaust changes. For 2022 they will have a Raptor R with a V8, most likely out of the GT500.
Correct, though it is widely expected to make at least 500HP. As a Gen2 Raptor owner, I’m more excited by the 5 link rear suspension with coils. The Raptor R will certainly have in excess of 700HP but what many folks don’t realize is that, that engine is hand built and there are only so many they can build a year. I highly suspect Raptor R numbers will be fairly limited and, of course, dealers will mark them up to insane prices.

IF Jeep made a Gladiator 392, I think I’d have to give that some serious consideration, though even that would be more expensive than the new V6 Raptor.

I with you but the plebeian masses would still have cried for the 6.4 not being in it.
