I am about to order my jeep gladiator and was wondering what is the bigest tire sizes I can put. It will be a Mojave so I am not lifiting, but wanted the tires to stand out, wider than the car… thought about offset the wheels to achieve that look, but what is the max? Thanks!

I wouldn’t go past 35 unless you like 10mpg
Thanks! How wide can I go? 12,5 max? Anyway to make it look wider with an offset wheel? -18 or even -24?

I was told 35s without having to do anything extra. I’ve read on this forum that 37s will fit but it’s tight. For what it’s worth, your spare tire well underneath the bed will only accommodate a tire up to a 35”.

How wide do you want to go? This is a 35x12.50x17 on a 8.5x17 wheel with zero offset.

Very nice car, looking good, thanks for the pics! That is what they recomended at the dealer (35x12,5x17 or 20). I will probably stick to 35 to be safe, but would like to go wider if I could, of course without compromising the performance and safety. I like when the tires stick out, wider than the car with when looking from behing, giving a ‘“muscular” look…. See poor quality pic of one that I saw on the street (not a Gladiator)…Thanks again for the post

I run 35/11.50's on 8.5" 17s with 4.5" Back Space.. Yes I could run these on Stock Wheels.. I had these from my JKU .. When looking at wheels the JTs and JLs have much larger lug nuts. Had to buy splined metric lug nuts to use these wheels. Expcect a drop in MPG as these are heavier, you will need to change tire size in ECU system too.

Getting ready to add the AEV 2" lift with geo correction brackets but it looks as rides great as is.

You'll have more dirt on the side of the vehicle and more opportunity for stone chips.

with these sticking out, how well do the mudflaps on the front keep the sides clean?
