I have a set of rears I can measure but your on your own with load rate. I’m looking for the dimensions of rear max tow springs.

Hey Chris (@The White Rabbit), did you have a chance to measure the free length on those Mojave rear springs? I could definitely use that info as well as I continue the "support weight w/o a lift" quest. :)
Much appreciated. Thanks!

Sorry to revive an old thread, but better than starting a new one no?

I want my Mojave to NOT squat so much when towing. I already have a Decked system, then throw on the trailer and I'm an inch from the bump stop... sad. Ideally I want a stiffer and longer spring, just a little. Maybe an inch taller and like 15-20% stiffer.

I don't love the idea of airbags, (I have some of the Ram 1500 bags on my work bench now...)
I don't want to just throw a massive bump stop in there either.
I had the coil spring supports in my JK for a while, those helped and were not super restrictive for up travel when wheeling...

Any suggestions from the suspension wizards out there?

We're using Clayton's rear springs to level out the Mojave with an extra 375 lb from the bed cap and roof top tent.

Jeep Gladiator 2.5" Triple Rate Rear Coil Springs 2020+, JT (COR-1510251)

The below picture is with the 375 lb cap and tent plus 500-600 lb of soil in the bed. The Clayton triple rate rear springs handle weight very well.

That looks PERFECT. Those rear lower arms are right at the angle I'm looking for but WITH the load! What did you do up front? Their same springs but for the front? Shock extensions as well or work with factory? (I'd like to keep them, hoping they respond similar to the Clayton springs as OEM springs.)

@ajkaz dude... IDEAL, no???

Thank you sir.

We have the AEV shock extensions front and rear. Our JT is basically a Frankenlift of Clayton, Teraflex, and AEV parts. I did a short overview in a few posts in the following thread but should probably create a separate thread with more details:

https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/mojave-2-5-frankenlift.44885/page-2#post-1100698

I would say with the 375 lb up high, it could use more damping than the stock Mojave Fox shocks provide.

In the front we used the Clayton Jeep Gladiator 1.5" Front Coil Springs 2020+ JT (COR-1508250).

I did forget to mention that in the rear, in addition to the Clayton springs, we also installed the Teraflex JL: 0.5” Coil Spring Spacer Load Level Kit (1155120). This gives some rake when bed is empty. I wanted some extra rake to compensate when hauling and towing.

This is how the JT looks with the bed empty:

Ya it looks good, and if he's happy with the combination great testimonial to the spring rates working well with the shock valving.

@unixxx seems to be carrying a lot more weight regularly, keep that in mind, you'll realize more lift height and a firmer ride, when not loaded or towing. Its great to see some new spring combinations working well with the Mojave suspension and people utilizing those awesome shocks!

I have some daystar 3/4" rear spacers in the garage if you want them, all yours!

Dang, frankenlift indeed! I wonder if I could get away with JUST the Clayton springs all around plus the AEV shock extensions. I do have a steel bumper and a winch up front, Decked in the rear, so those springs might get me stock plus a little bit of height, then keep me better prepared to tow my trailer!

Looking at Timbren SES (basically taller bump stops, no?) and I like the idea of the added support under load, but that longer bump stop would limit up travel when wheeling, would it not?

I still feel like the best option would be a slightly longer, slightly stiffer spring. Maybe JUST a slightly stiffer spring. Technically stiffer springs all around would bring me back to factory Mojave height (with all my added weight), but then the valving of my awesome Fox shocks would need to change no? Wondering if I'd get away with leaving them alone...

If I was only trying to get the suspension height back to stock, then the suspension geometry wouldn't change from stock and I would only change the springs.

But because I lifted 2.5", I changed basically everything on the suspension to correct the geometry:

AEV shock extensions
AEV bump stop extensions
AEV extended sway bar links
AEV front geometry correction brackets - restores caster and control arm angle
Teraflex rear geometry correction brackets - realigns differential pinion
Clayton front and rear adjustable track bars - realigns axles laterally
Teraflex front and rear track bar geometry correction brackets - raises roll center and restores track bar angle
Rock Jock extended rear brake lines (ABS lines should also be extended)

In the rear spring stack I currently have:

Teraflex coil spring top retainer
Clayton spring
Teraflex spacer
Teraflex bottom coil spring retainer

In the front:

Clayton spring
Mopar coil correction isolator on driver side
Rock Jock shim on passenger side
