So I've about had it with the saggy mesh door pockets after only having the truck for less than 3 months. Looking at the DV8 and American Adventure Lab panels. I like the idea of the DV8 panel with the kickout at the front to allow for water bottles. I just wonder if I'd be better served by the flat panel like American Adventure Labs and jus attach a water bottle pouch to it. Anybody with first hand experience with either product?

Thanks in advance.

I have them on order and should be shipping in a couple days from what they tell me. I installed the rear DV8 Molle panel and it went in nicely and seems sturdy. The rear had a kick out also and i put a water bottle in it. Its a little tight with a plastic water bottle but works. I didn't want to have to drill into my door panel which i think the AAL one requires. Once i get them in and installed i'll post some photos.

American Adventure Labs also has rear deep pockets available:
https://americanadventurelab.com/product/jeep-jl-jt-rear-molle-door-pockets/
and....

There was a question about our MOLLE door panels in one of the FB groups. Upon digging into the conversation a little more, I realized that there was an opportunity for us to bring a product to the market that we have been asked about a few times over the years.

We took that opportunity to develop that product in real-time with feedback from the FB groups. That was actually a lot of fun and we are discussing ways to do more of that in the near future. The result of that exercise is what you see here.

These are a variation of our existing Jeep Wrangler MOLLE Door Panels, but these are 5052 aluminum and have a pocket that is about ¾” deep. This is absolutely the maximum pocket you can do in the front without hitting the seat adjustment handles.

In other words more options in AAL! You also will need ........ deep pockets to pay for said options lol!

I just want to know what ya'll are putting in these door nets to cause the sag. I've never had the problem, but I only put an occasional pamphlet, parking garage pass, or an empty pack of smokes in there until I can get to a trash can.

I'd like to see a video of these to show how much room they take up (specifically since you mention that they are the max you can fit without hitting the seat adjustment). Can you still adjust the seat with the door closed, or not?

Running the AALabs Rubicon Red in my Mojave. Would probably just make a small recommendation to add a not so tall molle pouch. Sometimes my Yeti waterbottle snags on the the little door entry hump, not all the time tho.

Definitely recommend and the Rubicon Red definitely stands out. I saw they came out with wider ones to put water bottles and such too.

I notice you left the nets in, as did I… have not had a chance to test drive since I installed just the other day, but was thinking the foam sheet they came wrapped in might provide a bit softer interface, if needed, to go between your leg and the panel.
I bought some self adhesive rubber u channel. Stick it on and no more issues.
