I have a 2021 80th anniversary edition Gladiator that has no LED lights at all on the exterior. I would like to add the OEM Mopar led fender lights first. Is this possible to do with just plugging them in and flashing them with a Tazer or at the dealership? Has anyone else tried using the OEM ones on something besides a Rubicon? Thanks

It should work. I have a sport and the vehicle side of the wiring plug has all the needed wires. It should work without issues.

Have you done it already? Added the Mopar LED fender lights?

I have not added fender lights but I tapped into the vehicle side of the harness for DRL and turn signals so I know they have the correct electrical signals going to it when turned on. I added fog lights in my bumper that have DRL and turn signals. So that is why I did it that way.

So in theory. My sport s that has the single bulb sport fender lights. Has all the wires on the body side plug to be able to install the Rubicon fenders with drl and turn signal?

Do you have black fenders?
I ask, because my Sport S has body-color fenders, and it came with DRLs and signals in the fenders.

I've done this on a JLU Sahara, and it works. As you noted, you'll need a Tazer or JSCAN to update the Jeep.

Was the install of the lights difficult? Where did you purchase them from @CivilJeep ?

I used the JScan to change the settings after tapping into the wiring harness and all works as it should.

Yes. Mine is a sport s and all the wires to the vehicle side are there. It makes sense too from Jeeps side. Make one harness for all to that point.

Kevin

I had the black non-body colored fenders with non-LED lights.

hmm...so what am I missing? 2021 Willy's non-led, regular tow package, painted fenders, dual bulb lights (turn and drl). My current ones separate into three: one for the DRL, one for the turn, and one for the side marker. Am I missing a harness, or do I need to take the entire wheel well liner out?

New LED: (single plug for these?)

Current dual halogen: (2 of the 3 plugs are visible)

I have a rubicon 2021 and I went from halogen to LED.
according to various post 2021 gladiators come with the4th wire that is required for the DRL. But in my passenger side light that cable that I posted is missing that wire so I found a guy in ebay that made it for me to have a clean installation. I had to have the vehicle flashed by my dealer last week. Everything is running fine besides the headlights DRL. ( I’ll go to the dealership tomorrow to check if they installed the correct flash.
Everything is easy to install except the fender lights. Those are a pain. Be ready to buy extra clips. The tail lights take about 10 min to change. The fog lights will take you 10-15 min. The headlights I’ll say about 30 min. The fender lights about 3 hours. Take your time.

The fog lights I got them for 135 used in mint condition from eBay.
The fender lights I got them on eBay as well. For 125 I got the left one brand new and 135 for the right one in excellent condition.
The tail lights I got lucky I say them for 250 in eBay for both of them. 300 shipped with tax.
The headlights I got them from https://www.bamwholesaleparts.com/
For 749.25 with free shipping.
I can give you the part numbers if you want me too

Awesome thanks! Yeah if you wouldn't mind. I have an 80th Anniversary Model but it also has painted fenders so I think the parts would be the same.

Thanks for that detailed info - I will order more clips preemptively haha. I have the fogs and tails done - agreed very easy, and plug and play.

The harness that you had made from a guy on eBay - that was for the headlight conversion, right? So that the halos will work as the drl?

I’m just wondering if the fender led conversion requires it’s own harness that is different from the halogen one. I bought the lights off the forum and they didn’t come with a harness.
