So for some clarity here, I am not a duck fan, but my wife is.
So, we have ducks.

I have a couple that I think are cool, (3D printed red with horns, and a red zombie I got at EJS) others are in a bag for the wife to distribute.

Some folks will buy a bunch of ducks to keep on the dash in case they see a jeep they like.

Not defending it or condemning it, just for informational purposes only. YMMV

What am I missing here? Are you saying I need psychiatric help for replying to a forum thread?
Just sounded like to me the way I read it that you was just talking to a shrink .. it just struck me funny in a way . I suppose we have all done that over these ducks.

Every Jeep that has ducks on their dash never waves back at me :mad::CWL:
I had two ducks on my dashboard for the first few months I had my Jeep, and people always waved. After that, I decided I was anti-duck and threw them away. I don't get nearly as many waves. I had not noticed the correlation until you said that.

Ducks = friendly
Ducks = grumpy, grouchy

That probably explains the waves.
Ducks on the dash, even just 2 or 3, does get waves. They see you as a bit more open-minded and friendly, I suppose.

Apparently there's a duck club, and we ain’t in it. ;)

No ducks on my dash. I was gifted one early on and I gave it to my four year old granddaughter.

I keep a box of toothpicks on one side of the dash, and sunglasses on the other. The ducks will have to take a back seat, literally.

And I’m not open minded. Whether I’m friendly or not depends on who you ask. I am however helpful, courteous , and kind, and some of the other Boy Scout Motto. And definitely prepared.

LOL, this is funny. I was on vacation recently in upstate NY. I pulled into a restaurant parking lot and parked next to a Jeep. I sat where I could keep an eye on it and saw the owner of that Jeep leave a duck on my handle (I don’t do ducks for ref.) . While I appreciate it I’m conflicted, because that owner was sporting an ā€œAngry grillā€ LOL. I don’t know How I should feel with an angry grill toting owner appreciating my Jeep.

Gotta be it.….although it was a chick. A 60’s looking gal too. Would’ve figured her to be more mellow, not angry. Looked like she had just smoked a fatty too with how slow she was moving. :)
