Mopar Hard Trifold Bed Cover Removal

My JTHA came from the dealer with the trifold bed cover. Is the cover hard to remove temporarily if carrying large cargo?

I haven't done it but I read it is 2 bolts and is quick.

I usually just fold up and attach with the straps, haven't needed it totally removed yet. Sorry but it does come off and I'm told it's easy.

It comes off fairly quickly, but it's not super convenient. You have to unbolt it from a couple of brackets at the front of the bed and disconnect the drainage tubes, then it just lifts off. I have to take mine off to carry my mountain bike. I wish it were tool-less to take it off, but it's not hard either.

It's in your owners manual, page 104. Looks pretty straight-forward to me.

Watch when u remove it the screws slide around so watch u dont lose them it’s very easy but a pain

I have the Mopar softop tri-fold and I believe both covers utilize the same bulk head mounts... two blots and you're ready to rock.
