I can't even find what factory coil spring rate is for JTR. I know most of the JL companies list spring rates, wonder what the big secret is for the JT?!Yeah it's tough. I even contacted 2 or 3 of the aftermarket companies and none of them could even give me their actual spec. Just were saying that with so many pounds and so many extra inches of lift you would end up being level. Sadly, that doesn't answer the questions.
I think Dobinson is the only ones who can (or will) give their actual spring rate spec. Although that doesn't help with the Mopar lift. I would also like to know....
I have wondered the same thing. No clue why this information is so secretive. Honestly my guess would be nobody knows and nobody cares? I know that's a crap attitude but more and more these days I can never seem to find actual true specifications from manufacturers - of all types. Just the other day I was trying to get weights from a company, and they gave me something like a 200 pound range - and I was very specific as to what options I was interested in and not interested in. Or even legally binding documentation from the power company doesn't have, and doesn't care to find, the documentation they claim to have. So I get to take them to court. All so that I can be 'reasonable' on my own property... Getting accurate data is frustrating to say the least.I can't even find what factory coil spring rate is for JTR. btw, what part of Montana you in? Been looking at property out there. Most likely a pipe dream as of now, unless I hit that powerball!! lol
WHICH Rubicon springs? There were at least 3 different springs used. There is no "Rubicon" spring, there's a range of Rubicon springs.I can't even find what factory coil spring rate is for JTR. I know most of the JL companies list spring rates, wonder what the big secret is for the JT?!
well that's irritating. but I guess understandable with different options available and all. Glad you said this before mine got too dirty/rusty to see.. There's a couple different numbers on each tag on the springs, so I'll give them all since I have no clue what is the right number to look at.WHICH Rubicon springs? So if looking for the spring rates for Rubicon springs, you need the spring number to get the rate for.
There's no "Overland spring" - there are multiple Overland springs. Same for Rubicon, Sport, etc.
So - which number Rubicon spring? ;-)
