Install pics. The front of each side rail slides into the hole at the front of the bed and 1 bolt goes in to hold it there (just like the MOPAR cover I believe). Each side install with 2 bolts into the existing threaded nuts under the plastic that you must cut out. I recommend that you run the bolts through the painted surface, as I found it difficult to get the bolts started. Less likely to cross thread.

Once installed, you will lose a little bit of area as the rail sticks into the bed a little bit.

Biggest disappointment of this cover is that it does NOT fold all the way up. The last panel has 4 attachments that don't allow it to fold up. So, the whole cover will have to be removed to use the whole bed.

I bought this off of ebay for $649 shipped to the door. For the price, I can live with the last panel not folding. In my F150, I raised that last panel about 15 times over 7 years, so not a huge deal breaker for me. It seems that the cover is made exactly like the Undercover Flex I had on the F150. Same design, texture, pretty much everything.

Rough Country is surprisingly made in USA. Anyone know where the Mopar one and others are made?

@maxpower220 does the Rough Country work seamlessly with the factory installed trail rail system?

I don't have the trail rail system. However, I see no reason why the RC cover would not work properly with it.

I'd email RC to make sure.

I got the Rugged Ridge Armis Hard Tonneau with Line-x. $1029. Had a Bakflip on my Tacoma Also. The RR Armis looks good and functions well. Ordered from Quadratec originally (free $75 gift card) but after a few weeks I called and it was still backordered. Contacted Rugged Ridge and they were in stock and shipped it to me the next day. Had it 3 days later. Rough Country didnt have theirs out yet. I think its a matter of choice at this point as they are all 3 panel and look similar. I think the RR Armis is a little more durable but thats a personal opinion.
have you had any issues with leaking? Also does your cover say Rugged Ridge...just got my “Rugged Ridge” Armis but the cover logo says rough country?? Are they the same company?

I have not had any issues with major leaking. There will be some water that gets in. But...
Mine definitely says Rugged Ridge. Below is Ruggid Ridge Armis (white) vs Rough Country (red)

And NO, they are not the same company. If you paid more than $650 for your Rough Country then you may have been spoofed!

I have teh Mopar cover with spray in bedliner. Mine does not close all the way on the tailgate side when closed, but enough to lock with tailgate. i think i need to raise the back side less than a 1/16 of an inch or maybe even 1/32.

hey everyone... new here. just got a Mojave 2021 2 days ago.
i was supposed to bring it back to the dealer this Friday to get the Mopar cover installed as part of the deal. however, after doing some web searching I have found many who say it leaks and when you live in a place that freezes a lot of the winter that it could make your tailgate not even open due to that. also it seems to need tools to remove the panels easily to have the entire use of the bed for a dirt bike on occasion.

so I have been looking at saying screw it and spending more ( the dealer was doing the mopar for 500 installed) to get the undercover ultra flex with the carpeted back side, led light, and easy removal with just your hands.

i am having a hard time finding anything explaining where the light get power though. does anyone know?

sedond i am considering the rugged ridge or arough country for the ease of removal.

it snows 8 months of the year where I live so waterproofing is important.

so my question to you all is, do I shell out twice as much for the undercover that looks to be the nicest tri fold out there or say screw it and get the mopar for less money?

i figure I already spent this much, i might as well get the nicest and most functional one. i think the undercover is a form of fiberglass too so no dents in it over time.

i have 24 hours to decided. lol
any input would be appreciated.
thank you

I have the RR and love it. One of the first to come out for the JT. You will always have intrusion, particularly at the bottom of the tailgate where it meets the bed. The are kits available to prevent this but little to no intrusion from the cover.
