I noticed several posts about tow capacity. If I am looking at the number correctly All JTs start out with a tow capacity of 4000lbs, the Rubicon adds 500 to that number. Then you add the Tow/Max Tow package and the rating increases. You only get the maximum tow rating with the 8 speed auto. The stick appears to have a lower tow rating than the auto.
The stick is much less than the auto, and the Rubicon is more than 4500# with the Auto....

I feel like the nanny shit is making people too laxed on the road. People stop paying attention because of the tech & then accidents happen.

That & I just dont wanna have to screw with it when shit starts wearing out/breaking
Exactly... Back in Feb I was out of town for a concert... One of my Uber rides was a Tesla. Dude literally put it in drive, punched in a destination, gave it gas, got onto the highway, then started playing on facebook while the car drove itself... I was like, WTF? so do I just pay the car for my ride, or do I still have to pay you for occupying the "driver's" seat.

I hope you gave him a low rating for not keeping his hands on the wheel. The inattentive driving behavior should be reported to Uber.

Tesla cars have a lot of advanced technology. The plan is for a software update to allow self-driving, when it becomes legal. In the meantime, the lane-keeping and advanced cruise control are only meant as driver assist features, not to drive the car. The car is supposed to give warnings, and eventually pull over and stop, if the driver is not touching the wheel.

The lax driver isn’t lax because of the nanny features. Those features just move the needle for him to be a more acceptable driver because he now has a system warning him that he has gone over the line, thus making the road safer for ALL drivers.
