I've got some 40x13.5r17 Cooper STT Pros en route for my Gladiator. Problem is nobody around here seems to have the equipment capable of mounting or more likely balancing the tires.
Just wondering if any of you folks have had luck getting a shop to mount/balance 40s or if at this point I'm stuck with bead balancing?
I've got beadlocks on my TJ and I mount them up myself and I've run beads in the past and the results are less than ideal in my opinion. But for the JT I was really hoping to just throw on the 40s have have them balanced by a local shop. The JT is the long distance overland rig of the stable and smooth running down the highway is the priority.
What do you folks running 40s and bigger do? Are you all just doing it at home and throwing in beads?
