I had sunshades mounted with bungee cords on my old 2020 Gladiator. But I just purchased a new 2024 which now has the side airbags mounted in the upper side roof pieces where the bungee cords used to wrap around. I guess this style of sunshade can't be used in the new Gladiators as they would block the airbags. Is there a newer style of sunshades or different ways of attaching for 2024s? Any thoughts or comments appreciated.

I guess you can just forego installing the side bungee cords

Won't the bungee just move upon airbag deployment?
No, the bungee cords would wrap tightly around the housing so it couldn't break away and deploy.

It's going to take the aftermarket a bit to catch up to the changes.
The good news is the problem you're having showed up in the JL's which were released earlier. So someone should be working on it.

From my understanding, there are changes in the dash too.

I doubt the bungee cords would keep it from deploying but they would become added shrapnel flying through the cabin if they did.
