Thanks for the reply. The new sensor does not have a green wire though and these wires come with the sensor, can’t pull them out. So now I wonder which one is my neutraljust hook the red to the same wire red is hooked to now, same for black. green goes on the green lug in the side of the switch, rest are not needed
Ok got it. Brand is legrend from Lowe’s. And by load side do you mean the ground wire? What brand is the switch? You might have to get a bare copper wire to properly ground the switch. Blue usually is used for 3way switch application. But that doesn’t apply here. My best guess not knowing the brand of switch is Red goes to white in the box. Black goes to hot side black in the box and yellow would go to load side/light/fixture. But without knowing the brand black and yellow could be opposite.
my oh my! neither of you should be work on high voltage electrical.. not all switches use white(neutral), blk is hot in, red is hot out, green is ALWAYS ground( bare wire is also ground). that switch does not use neutralOk got it. I just told you, maybe you should hire an electrician! How do I switch the old out for the new?
I’ve installed the other three switches next to it, this is the last one I need. As long as I know which colors to match should be good. I’ve installed pendants and ceiling fans as well, not that difficult if you know which cables to hook up.I just told you, maybe you should hire an electrician!
close to burning your house down!I’m so close man, you could make the difference here!
