I run the Kumho Road Venture MT KL71 tires. I really like them.

Jeep Gladiator Mud Terrain or All Terrain? JTR 4

If you don't like directional tires, they now have a brand new MT tire called the MT71 that they offer in several 17" wheel sizes, including 35x12.50r17, that might interest you. Give @Discount Tire a shout here on the forum. They're a sponsor, so they'll take care of you on pricing and customer service.

What do you guys run?
Type of trails? Frequency?
MTs aren't great for daily driving - best for MUD - thus the M/T designation.
If you run muddy trails - go for it!
If you don't get into really mucky slimy mud - A/Ts may do.

I chatted with a tire dealer when trying to decide on another set for my Overland - ended up buying Rubicon take-offs with A/Ts. Very good in snow. I figure they'll deal with any mud I mess with here in our fields.

Trails is sort of a wide open statement - Pyrpatriot (sp) took some neat trails with his months ago just sort of testing things out and posted about it - can't recall the tires he used, though. It wasn't a highly modified JT

I've run two sets of wheels/tires for 20+ years for every one of my 4x4's. From my JRT, I swapped my Falken AT's to my YJ, needed new wheels for that though. Compared to KM2's, there IS no comparison on the street. The Falkens are WAY better than I thought they would be.

AT's are so much better on the street and can be spectacular in the snow and sand. I haven't picked up any muds for the new Jeep, don't know that I will - it's not really that kind of Jeep.

I prefer MT's for rocks, we don't really do mud out here except under the snow. You give up a lot running MT's on the street, and if you store them correctly they will last a long time in storage. Of course, you have to have space, and air tools make everything easier.
