Multiple lights on.

I have a 2020 gladiator. For some reason Lately I've been getting the air bag, seatbelt and auto stop start light comming on. I did find that when I move around on my seat they go on and off. If i engage the seat belt and move it arond the lights go on and off. I also finally found that there's a wire that's broken of Where you click the engage the seat belt. Could that be a common wire that affects all these issues?

That is likely the problem, but you won't know for sure until it's fixed. The seat has a weight sensor that is used by the air bag system. The ESS system monitors the seat belts, and almost everything else.

Thanks for the quick reply. I ordered a replacement harness for the seatbelt where they connect. Should I be worried about the airback going off? Or should I disconnect the grounds For both batteries? Thanks again

The airbags should not go off. I would disconnect the batteries to cut the power, just as a precaution. It can take the head unit up to 24 hours to fully recover from the power loss.

Well it's done. No boom! On the air bag. All idiot lights are off. I'm thrilled. Probably saved $500 bucks. Thanks again.

There was a wire that goes into the connection for the seat belt that actually broke off. I kept getting the light turning on for the seat belt off. Start stop off light on And an issue with airbag light on. There all related As a safety feature in case of an accident. I purchased an OEM part and installed it. And everything cleared up .

Man,I hope you're still around and can help. Same exact thing happened to me. You mentioned you bought an OEM part. Can you write up which part it was and how you fixed it? I need help. How involved was it? Thanks in advance for your help I really need it.

I've gotten rid of my jeep, because i see how things start going downhill.After a hundred thousand miles. I do miss the style of the gladiator it is definitely a majestic beast

It's pretty straightforward for taking it out and putting it back in. I am not the sharpest tool in the shed.But if I could do it anybody could do it. The only thing I suggest is to disconnect the battery just in case something happens.

The harness for the seat belt where you click into and make sure that that is a problem
