His song Paradise is probably one of my #1 favorite songs and Sam Stone, such a good story teller. I discovered him in college because of his song Illegal smile. I cried when I learned he died last year.

I was watching the movie "Shooter" with Mark Wahlburg recently and Levon Helm has a really cool scene in it as Mr. Rate. Wahlburg goes to see him for advice on snipers who can kill at 2 miles.
