I'm a little over 8k into my Mojave. But then the question becomes how do you count?

Do i count my custom leather seats as 2300 or only 300 because factory leather would have been 2k anyway? Do i count my 35s and wheels as 1000 or 100 because I sold my takeoffs for 900? Do i count my mopar maxcare at 2915?

That 8k number includes every post sale penny regardless of replacement cost or salvage value, and most people wouldn't count an extended warranty (not because they shouldn't, but because they don't want to). So am I 8k into my Mojave or 2400?

If my wife asks, i tell her 8k. If my friends ask "man I did everything you see here for $2400"

My wife and I talked about this the other day I gave her my budget justification....

At first were looking at Rubicons, wanted hard and soft top she said to me " since you don't care about resale value, couldn't, you get a sport and just upgrade....."
I heard a radio add for save 13% on all leftover gladiators. It all clicked! If I score Kohls cash like savings on a truck, I get a financial hall pass on upgrades

I bought a left over 2023(Bought it spring 2024) sport S with max tow, hard top and Dual door group (Sticker price $59,485) after dealer discounts military incentive and Mopar discounts I paid $43k and change
so as I see it I already saved almost $16K so any mods Up to that are free and if i sell any parts it just increases the kitty !
also bargain parts increase budget in real cash savings
examples
- Had High line fenders on order ($1,200) canceled due to finding take offs ($250)
-was gonna Buy a factory soft top ($2,400) but got a deal on a rugged ridge delivered ($900)
That's $2,450 added to the already $16K budget
