I've got a question - can the OP please explain with some other comparison how his truck smells?
I've really got nothing to compare to since I don't know what cheap hookers smell like..
Can you provide some other comparison or example? That one has me confused.
I've asked around and no one else seems to know what that smells like, either.

Beer - oh, yeah - got ya there. Uncle Sam's in Des Moines in the 70s - penny beer night. Hoss (college friend) could go through a quarter's worth in no time.

my teenage son and I just completed a 4K mile camping trip. My truck smelled like old wet feet. After a few days in the garage with doors and top opened, it got much better.

I once left my sunroof wide open and it rained while parked - obviously piles of water got in, because Florida. I got as much out as I could with rags/vacuum, then drove around with the AC on, circulated, and heater on. Was tons of dry hot air cycling through, never had any smells after that. I think whatever damp smell was there, it dried out to where it killed any bacteria/mold/etc..

I got rid of my carpet and sprayed the floor pan with Lizard Skin. It’s durable like bed liner, no odor and easy to clean. It has a sound and thermal barrier. Also a lot of talk about Armorlite floor mats. Either makes more sense in a Jeep than carpet. Lizard Skin is a three day project but well worth it.

I love it! I’ve got it muddy, I pull the drain plugs and hose it out. It dampens road noise and I don’t feel the heat from the road radiating up thru the floor. I have a German Shepherd and it was a real bitch cleaning his hair out of the carpet. I use Weathertech mats in the front.

Do the mats slide? Since there is no nipple for them to click into or carpet to dig into? I got the jeep slush mats now. But my grand Cherokee has the weathertechs and their the shit.

No the Weathertechs are a perfect fit. I’m pretty sure they snap in just like the carpet pieces. I d go out and check now but it’s raining like a mofo.

Get the Chemical Guys interior freshener, it leaves your car smelling like new. I love it and used it in my 30yo Mitsubishi Montero and it smells so good. On a side note I love their line of products.
