I am planning to lift my wife's new 2023 Sport with Max Tow. After looking at a lot of info on this forum and knowing that it is mainly for looks, since she will never drive it in any serious offroad conditions, this is what I am thinking of doing. Any constructive feedback would be appreciated.

Teraflex 2.5" Performance Spacer Lift
Mopar Extended Lower Control Arms
Front and Rear Adjustable Track Bars (Haven't decided which brand)
Bilstien Shocks (Not sure which ones I need)
1.5" Wheel Spacers
Stock Rubicon Takeoff Wheels

Any input on the shocks or any other items I may be missing?

35-12.5-17 is what Im thinking. The Rubicon takeoff wheels I got have some low mileage 33s on them that I’ll probably let her run for a bit.

I don’t recommend the Mopar extended LCA’s. I purchased them originally for my frankenlift, and they didn’t work- they pushed the front axle just a wee bit off kilter, resulting in driving around for a week with a significant pull to the right after alignment. I now have teraflex alpines. 5x the cost for the set, but the adjustability is really helpful.

You’re going to end up spending more money than you think, even with a 2.5 lift. Forget the mopar LCA’s, you’ll need adjustable. You might need longer sway bar links, not sure. Make sure you stick with load range C tires. That’s just the beginning, honestly.

I would strongly advise (if hardly ever going off road) to get a smaller leveling kit, mopar LCAs would be fine with a 1.5 in front and 3/4 pucks in rear. Stock shocks would work, but bilstein would ride similar as well. You can still fit 35’s with no issues And you won’t have to worry as much about fixing the steering geometry.

With the 1.5" wheel spacers. you have to trim the ends of the wheel studs down. If you use 1.75" wheel spacers. You do not. I'm using the Teraflex 1.75" spacers. Have a 4" lift with 37" tires on the Rubi rims.

Well dang! I thought I could do the 1.5” since the wheels have the “pockets” on the backside between the lug holes.

Thanks for the input. The Teraflex kit comes with longer sway bar links. It also has a 2” and 1/2” puck to stack. Maybe I would be better to use just the 2” or step down to their 1.5” kit. The 1.5” doesnt have sway bar links, but they may not be needed.

I run the 2.5 rough country lift with 3/4” rear pucks to keep it leveled when hauling. I ordered the upgraded shocks and adjustable track bars at same time. Running 35”x10.5 17 kenda klever RT that measured 34.6” on the truck at 36 psi. Zero rub issues and a pretty good ride so far for the money.

Looks great! I considered the RC 2.5” too. Haven’t made up my mind though. I do like the option of 2” or 2.5” with the Teraflex, but I like the offset swaybar links in the RC kit. May end up with a combination if I can buy stuff separately.

I have 1.5” wheel spacers on mine with factory 20” wheels. No issues. 35x12.50 tires.

Check out the Clayton 2.5” Ride Right. Nice kit for the price. It includes adjustable front uppers and adjustable track bars front and rear. And sway bar links.

I went with the RC as it was complete and ease of install. I knew it was not going to see much off-road use but mainly just camping and fire roads. I have a k5 blazer 3 link front 4 link rear on 42” for the tough stuff lol

That’s like what hers will see. Sounds like you have a serious offroad machine when you want to play rough.
