@RacerAV I really like your idea of the 4XE cowl panel holding an air coupler. Too bad they don’t have one for the passenger side to match and have an air coupler mounted there as well.
Yeah that would be sweet to just have a connection over there... I suppose I can still have one somewhere but probably overkill...

Eventually I'll make a 4 hose deal to fill all four tires at the same time... It's faster due to less hose restrictions, at that point I'd need bigger tire fill valves to make anything go faster!

Still piecing this whole thing together.

I really want to get the whole Apex reel and accessory kit... man I love that thing. I'm a gear guy I guess, lol...

I want the compressor inside the driver front fender, easiest spot for air connections to my 4xe door, and wiring to the battery. I didn't want the compressor inside the Jeep... noise, heat, whatever, I didn't want it behind the seat that's got a sleeping kid in a car seat.

BUT, I'd like a better option to just a bag with 30' of air hose, you know? Love that Apex reel and the convenience of it, the quality of it, etc. But where the heck should/could I mount it? Really seems like the interior is the best bet. It's gotta have an air line running to it, so that kinda limits spots. Maybe I'm overthinking all this, and I should cancel the hose reel, just keep it simple and have a hose in a bag.

Have you thought about mounting the compressor in a enclosure in the bed and a air tank (or two) under the bed? You have recesses behind the bed wheel wells and the new ARB mount is a quick release. not sure how secure it would be under the bed.

My mounting is in the back seat (removed the drive rear seat and built an enclosure). I also have a second battery (Genesis) system under the rear seat. This provides for very short power lead runs.

Operation of the new compressor the system start one compressor then add the second to reduce initial AMP draw. I like the idea of using the Cowl mount for the outlet, you could easily add the ARB compressor switch that too.

The 4 tire at once thing.... unless you are on level ground you will never get all the tires the same pressure Had a system like this years ago on my JKURR. After 6 months pulled it in favor of a single line.

I did and still do like the idea of an air tank, love the one in my little ARB suitcase, love that it's filling with air as I move between tires, and puts out consistent air pressure and volume. I haven't looked into it, but I can't imagine the twin brushless puts out as much volume/pressure as a tank full of air does... I can tell with the air gun when the tank is empty (on my suitcase version with the non-brushless compressors)

I don't love the new ARB quick release deal, it literally hangs on by the fins! Tiny area to grab... I feel like its not as secure as just some screws into the body or something, but gotta trust ARB I guess...

I'm putting it under the driver fender, when ever my freakin mount arrives. The only missing part is the Grimm bracket, sadly. Haven't even seen an update on it yet. Was hoping to have it all in before going out to King of the Hammers this weekend.

Yeah the Grimm kit includes a little plate for the 4xe cowl that accommodates the ARB air quick release and the ARB switch.
