MY22 Only - Anyone moved to D1?

Dealer emailed me today that I am still in D1 and my shipping has moved back by 2 weeks to the 27th.

I am beginning to think it's personal.

I'm afraid to ask Gupton for a status update. Really hoping 12/14 sticks but I don't have any movement yet.

That is SO awesome! I am hoping my mojave isn't far behind you to arrive at Gupton. Mine is also sting gray, same rims, same fenders. I got the painted hardtop, and a front camera, but no bed cover.

I did Jeep Chat yesterday they said that

I am showing that your Gladiator has completed the initial build, and is pending installation of additional equipment. This is a necessary step when additional features or optional equipment packages are added to the vehicle. It should be moving into the shipping stage shortly! Currently no Dealer ETA has been provided.

I also emailed Daniel at Gupton and he replied with

Good afternoon sir! It is at the "Body Vendor" right now, which is hopefully the end of it's journey before shipment, and will start heading this way soon! I will let you know if it releases in the next day or so!

Fingers crossed it ships sometime soon. I've adjusted my expectations that I won't have it by Christmas. At that point I'll be too busy to travel until after the new year so figuring early/mid January.

JB = shipped to body vendor
and
JJ = consigned to body vendor

The guide below mentions Shipped to Body Vendor, but doesn't say anything about Consigned to Body Vendor.

Dreaded D1 to D regress. Got the BuildSheet today and saw the change there. Headed off to JeepChat and was told:

"Thank you so much for holding. I am showing that your vehicle has been built and is pending installation of additional equipment. This is a necessary step when additional features or optional equipment packages are added to the vehicle. Currently no Dealer ETA has been provided."

I'll just think of it as a "mostly built" and progress is being made moment (or at least I'm telling myself that...)

Got a little more detail from the dealership. My Gladiator has passed JB status (final inspection) and is "...off to the body shop". Maybe for spray-on bediner? I dunno. Always confused how something passes "final inspection" and yet isn't really done being put together yet .

Inspection is "I", "JB" is where you are now (Body Vendor). And, you are correct: that's where you get any MOPAR "options" like bedliner, slush mats, trail rails, tonneau covers, etc...

No worries! I can only guess, but it appears they inspect the "final/final" when it's at the body vendor because after JB, it's either sent to Storage (JS) or Shipped (KZ).
