While changing the cabin air filter. This was laying behind the glove box.
Also when pulling the filter. There was only one filter shoved in it.

Check the left side of your glove box. That is the gear that allows the glove box to slowly open. It should go back into place easily.

it goes on the arm that slows the opening of the glove box. It goes in the damper arm.
