While changing the cabin air filter. This was laying behind the glove box.
Also when pulling the filter. There was only one filter shoved in it.

Check the left side of your glove box. That is the gear that allows the glove box to slowly open. It should go back into place easily.

Check the left side of your glove box. That is the gear that allows the glove box to slowly open. It should go back into place easily.
Were you the guy who took the auto shop teachers car apart in high school then put it back together in the cafeteria or somewhere crazy? :LOL:

It wasn't necessary to take that '64 Impala apart that far to get it onto the stage.

Good to know. Mine hasn’t fallen out, but now I’ll know what it is.

It’s normal for only one filter to get compressed and shoved in there. They didn’t do anything wrong in that way. I’ve seen aftermarket filters in two pieces, but I’d rather a single to prevent anything from getting through in between.

Very strange. I wonder if they changed this. I’ve done the cabin air filter so many times and I’ve never seen it in two pieces. Including the original one from the factory.
