On the diesel. It's a 2 piece charcoal filter. On the 3.6. It's a 1 piece non charcoal filter. And it's cheaper. The oem filter is a single piece.
Thanks very much. I had no idea.On the diesel. It's a 2 piece charcoal filter. On the 3.6. It's a 1 piece non charcoal filter. And it's cheaper.
In MY situation, I was told both filters have been replaced. If I followed his advice and trusted him, I would've went another 10,000 miles before I replaced it. It was absolutely beyond filthy. The dealership is a "stealership" because the truck has the filter it's supposed to have and the owner was ignorant to that fact? I don't understand.
I get all that, I'm not defending dealerships. F them. I was just confused as to what their role was in the case of the missing cabin filter that's not missing at all.In MY situation, I was told both filters have been replaced. If I followed his advice and trusted him, I would've went another 10,000 miles before I replaced it. It was absolutely beyond filthy.
I was also told they just changed the oil. Yeah, had that done, also, first thing. Now I know it's history, not something I was told.
Believe half of what you see, none of what you hear.
Ok. There are two filters filling the cabin air filter housing. The dealer only put one in, leaving half the air flow to be completely unfiltered. Get it now? What's the 2nd one?
