I have seen a few posts for narrow tires that don’t stick out. i know someone probably Has a list of options for both 35 & 37 inch tires. i thought 37 x1250 was my only option but would Like to go narrow.

Nitto has a 37x11.50 tire. Kenda Klever has a 35x10.50. I think there's a Super Swamper tire that's 35x9.50. If you wanted a pizza cutter 33" you can get the 255/80R17

With factory rubicon wheels my 35x12.5 tires don’t stick out.

sadly not much 17" love for the pizza cutters right now

nitto and i believe toyo, have some 35/37 x 11.5 options in 18" & 20" wheels...pick up some 18" take offs from wrangler sahara's or overlands perhaps? or when you buy aftermarket stick to 18"/20" options so you can run the skinnies

another appealing option is the 285 75r18" option, these are true 35's and run a bit taller than all the usual 35's...you're stuck to 18" wheels for these though

those are your options aside from those kenda 35x10.5 which apparently measure 34? I'd rather go 285 75r18 than those kendas

It's generally not the tires that cause them to "stick out". It's the wheel offset. What wheel/tire do you plan to run?

Likely going to be Hutchinson Rock Monsters. Probably stick with 37 KM2 or 3. that was my favorite combo on my JK. But the older I get the less I like lifting heavy tires and going through the car wash So every couple years I like to check and see if there is a good alternative.

Wow! Rock Monsters are awesome, but one of the heaviest wheels available. At -3 offset, you could definitely choose a wheel which keeps the tires under the fender better if that’s a goal. Have you looked at the AEV Borah JL beadlock wheels (if you indeed want/need beadlocks)? They’re +25 offset, which equates to about an inch more inside the fender than the Rock Monster. Good luck, and post pics of what you wind up with.

I’m also interested in this (not to hijack your thread) I was looking at the 35 10.5 kendas. Does anyone know what offset/wheel width I could go with to stay inside the fender? I was looking at the black rhino overland with +30 offset not sure if that’s to little. For a max tow sport

Has anyone ever found a skinny 37?? Id love to find a 37x10.5 or 11.5 on a 17 inch steelie wheel. Do they exist and if not, are there some reasons why not? Maybe engineering or something? no market for them?

thanks in advance!

37x11.50 available on 20", haven't seen anything skinnier (could be some swamper types perhaps but not something you'd normally run) and agree it would be nice to some 37/35x11.50's on 17" wheels! yes please, i'm running 37x12.50 falken MT and they look skinny, the tread width is 1/2" less than the goodyear duratrac 315 70r17's i had before (10.5" tread width, the falkens are 10"). Loving my tires btw. I bet the nitto 37x11.50's will look nearly the same as i understand nitto tends to run pretty wide on it's treadwidths. I can't find anyone to measure the nitto 11.5 treadwidths...i've been trying. I think i'm sitting about as narrow as you can get on a 37.

I'm running the 285/75R18s on my JT. They were on when I bought it. Here's the only dealer pic I had, maybe you can get a feel for how they look.
I actually ended up getting a set of 1.75" wheel spacers because I actually prefer them to stick out a bit
