Slow to get started, second JT build, 27K miles. Would appreciate agreements...... 2023, JT, Max Tow. Currently with Rubicon wheels and tires.

Will 35x12.5, AT, with Method 703- 17x8.5 (25 offset /5.78 backspacing),maintain stock scrub, and flex inside wells with no rub??

2.5 AEV-DualSport RT.

I want to keep these outer tires inline with almost stock.( no show) Trying to keep these Max Tow wide axles down to an easier ride and steer for my most significant driving partner, plus I want to try this style for my 2nd JT Build.

If I can't do the above, I will have to do 11.5 which is not my preferred but would be nice.

I think I watched it will work on @DrivingLine.

Any advice very appreciated.

Thank you all.

If it helps any…. (Probably not)….. I have Method 305’s- 17” x 8.5” with +25 offset.
I’m installing the OEM 33’s on them here at the end of March. So, I don’t have real photos yet…..

The local offroad shop recommended that size & offset for me to keep the tires under the fenders. There’s a website I punched the numbers into, and my situation looks to be about 1/2” wider (which still barely stays under the fenders - I live in PA - and poke is illegal). https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/

….. I think the +25 offset is probably the best you’ll find - at least, I didn’t find anything I liked….that had a higher offset than that (other than OEM wheels).

I had an AEV 2.5" lift, both AEV salta and borah wheels (25mm/ 5.72 backspacing), and 37" KO2s on my JTR (same wide axles). I had no issues with rubbing. At a 35" tire I dont think you'll have any rubbing issues with the lower fenders. The wheels tuck in nicely, just the bulge of the 12.5 tire stuck past the fender. A 35x11.5 should make everything tuck in tightly and keep the weight down.
