Trying to get this figured out. I'm hearing so many opinions and do's and don't's. I want to run a basic LEVEL on my Mojave. 1.5 Teraflex level kit in the front and perhaps 1/2-3/4 in the rear. I have no intentions on ever running 37's. Trying to keep less 'poke" and everything tucked in as much as possible. Everytime I talk to someone different in my area I get a different answer...."oh that won't work" or "oh your going to have rubbing' or "you will have no issues with rubbing"or "I will need a lift or.....whatever. Maybe someone has this set up and they can help me out here and confirm. Here's what I want. The less poke the better with no rubbing.

26' Mojave with steel bumpers and a winch.
Method 17 x 8.5 wheels
0 Offset
4.75 Backspace
315/70/17 tires
Teraflex 1.5" front spacer kit

I have the same setup except a stock 2020 Rubicon and Battle Born wheels the same size and 315/70R17, without the winch or spacer kit. But I did replace the front inner fender liners with American Adventure Lab. for added clearance

You'll be fine. I run 17x8.5 with zero offset as well, but I have a 2 inch lift and 37x12.50. Be aware though, that there will be some tire poke. I have close to 2 inches of tire extending past the fender flares.

Before going to 37s, I ran 315/70/17 on the stock wheels with no lift, and had zero issues with rubbing, even at stock height (I also have a Mojave). The stock wheels are technically 1/2 inch too narrow for this tire size though.
If you're wanting a more flush with the fender edge look, check out any of the AEV wheels. I believe they're running closer to a +25 offset.

I have the Methods with 0 offset and 37s with a 2 inch lift, no rubbing. If I had to do it again I would look for the Methods with some + offset. But might risk some rubbing.

I'd be looking at 5"+ BS if you want them flush/inside the fender on a wide track Mojave. Just know that IF you decide to install aftermarket remote resi/piggyback shocks someday, you might need a .5" wheel spacer.

0/4.75 8.5's fit the resi's pretty good even though it's tight, but a 0/4.75 8.5" wheel with a 12.50 tire, tread will be out of the fender about 1".

I was going to give you an example with Methods I have worked with verified to fit, but it appears they have discontinued the 5.56" BS 5 on 5 wheels!!??

You'll have no issues with that setup, and you'll see a touch of poke.

For reference, this is 17x8.5 0 offset and 315/70, but on a Rubi (.6 inch narrower axles than a Mojave), 3.5 inch lift, and I added fender extensions. You'll have some poke with a zero offset, but it won't be obnoxious. It will depend on the tire and sidewall design, but I'd suspect about 1.5 inches WITHOUT fender extensions.

Mojave wheels have greater offset to clear the Fox 2.5 reservoir shocks on the Mojave.

You can level it if you want, but as soon as you add nearly anything in the bed, or a trailer, it will sag in the back because of the soft Mojave rear springs.

We opted for the AEV 2" spacer lift and geometry correction brackets, which look awesome, perform great, and only have a little bit of rake. When we put anything in the bed, or attach one of our trailers, it levels right out.

I bought my Mojave used and it came with 315/70r17 tires installed on stock wheels with no lift. Worked fine but decided I wanted a wider wheel for the tires. Installed Method 703s 17x8.5" with +25mm offset last week as I didn't want a lot of poke. Stock wheels are 17x7.5 +37.17 offset. Result in the change is ~1mm loss in back spacing. Still have no rubbing. As noted above, majority of AEV wheels for the gladiator are the same spec as the Methods I went with.

I'm interested too. My understanding was axles are the same but front knuckles are different
