You'll be fine. I run 17x8.5 with zero offset as well, but I have a 2 inch lift and 37x12.50. Be aware though, that there will be some tire poke. I have close to 2 inches of tire extending past the fender flares.

Before going to 37s, I ran 315/70/17 on the stock wheels with no lift, and had zero issues with rubbing, even at stock height (I also have a Mojave). The stock wheels are technically 1/2 inch too narrow for this tire size though.
If you're wanting a more flush with the fender edge look, check out any of the AEV wheels. I believe they're running closer to a +25 offset.
Actually AEV Salta XR's were my first choice but couldn't really get answers on those either. I was just getting the answer "they SHOULDN'T", and that was from the source when I called to inquire. I'd like to run the AEV wheels with the 315/70's with the 1.5" level ideally. Thanks for the info

You'll have no issues with that setup, and you'll see a touch of poke.

For reference, this is 17x8.5 0 offset and 315/70, but on a Rubi (.6 inch narrower axles than a Mojave), 3.5 inch lift, and I added fender extensions. You'll have some poke with a zero offset, but it won't be obnoxious. It will depend on the tire and sidewall design, but I'd suspect about 1.5 inches WITHOUT fender extensions.

Perfect. Thanks for that.

Mojave wheels have greater offset to clear the Fox 2.5 reservoir shocks on the Mojave.

You can level it if you want, but as soon as you add nearly anything in the bed, or a trailer, it will sag in the back because of the soft Mojave rear springs.

We opted for the AEV 2" spacer lift and geometry correction brackets, which look awesome, perform great, and only have a little bit of rake. When we put anything in the bed, or attach one of our trailers, it levels right out.
Yep thought about that as well. May do a 1/2"-1" level out back also. Drop some pics if you like. Thanks

I bought my Mojave used and it came with 315/70r17 tires installed on stock wheels with no lift. Worked fine but decided I wanted a wider wheel for the tires. Installed Method 703s 17x8.5" with +25mm offset last week as I didn't want a lot of poke. Stock wheels are 17x7.5 +37.17 offset. Result in the change is ~1mm loss in back spacing. Still have no rubbing. As noted above, majority of AEV wheels for the gladiator are the same spec as the Methods I went with.
So no lift with the 703 17x8.5 with +25 offset? Is the backspace the 5.72??

You can fit 37x12.50's under a Rubicon/Mojave fender no lift with 5.7-4.75 BS 8.5" wheels and maybe just a tiny bit of bump stop spacing......You do give up some up travel, so I like to do at least 2" lift up front for a good balance of low CG and go fast performance.

The bumper might be in question. I remove the wings off of the OE steel bumpers.

AEV 2" spacer lift with geometry correction brackets are the simple easy way to go in my experience. Have used this kit on two Gladiators now.

Geometry Correction brackets. Does that come with that particular kit? Where would a guy find those otherwise? Your rig sits nice.
