I am need identifying this little foam jewel. I dont believe it is from overhead, i.e. roof line. I think it is an under dash piece. Opened the door and found it on the floorboard. Any help would be much appreciated. It has adhesive on one side. TIA

Probably from the recirculation bellows door or the HVAC ducting somewhere would be my best guess. That stuff is used in a lot of places though.

That makes sense. Likely a non-issue..agree?

Yeah, unless you start having a squeak or unintended HVAC air duct leaking from somewhere bothersome, I would call it a non issue.

Could also have been trash leftover from manufacturing that just worked its way loose.

Check the under side of your dash. There is a panel there (steering column) and that could be a sound deadener from the area.
Passenger side, but will do.

Have you had your doors off recently? That sure resembles the padding on the inside lip of the plastic panel piece that you would remove to unplug the front doors.
