Key is to unlock the door when the electronics of the fobic fail...Oh and stab you inadvertently in the leg when in your pocket..


Thanks to AJT Designs the fobic is smaller and the key remains inside.

No, that’s not what the key is for. It’s to lock the center console and glove box. That’s all. (I’m being sarcastic)

Ugh. Thanks for the replies. This concept kinda sucks but oh well. Guess I have to adapt to the bullshit. I fear for 20 years from now. 1 month of new "jeep" ownership and i already miss my XJ's. Lol. Guess it's time to start a separate budget to buy one and start building again. Haha

I can be difficult even if possible to shift the transfer case to neutral with the engine off and/or in park.

I believe when you shut the Jeep off, no mater if in R, N, or D and the Jeep is not moving it will go into AutoPark.
