Brought home my new Mojave yesterday, less than 200 miles on the vehicle, and am experiencing flickering lights in the cab and multiple warnings.

The passenger side door lock/unlock button, assist/SOS buttons and the axle lock panel are all going crazy.

I’m also seeing the Check Engine light (steady yellow), Axle Locker Fault and Forward Collision Warning indicators.

I have read online about the sensor issue related to the axle lock warning and have the following questions:

1. are these all related to the same issue?
2. Is it safe to drive until the dealership fixes this?

I’ll be dropping it off at the dealership for inspection and repair on Monday morning. Hoping it’s an easy fix.

I appreciate everyone’s help!

Wanted to add that this was not happening during the test drive. This started on my drive home after the dealership washed the vehicle and it was -10F outside. Which shouldn’t cause the issue (people wash their vehicles when it’s cold), but may be a contributing factor.

Don’t even bother to troubleshoot it….. Drive it straight over to the dealer.

If you haven’t done it yet, make sure all fuses in the fuse box are fully seated. Every new Jeep I’ve encountered has had loose fuses. Not saying this will solve it, but worth checking.

But starting to do all that after a wash is suspect for sure. Automatic car wash or manual? Do you know if they sprayed down the engine bay too?

If you’re not bringing it in till Monday, In the meantime I’d throw it on a battery charger. Sounds like a low battery. Can’t hurt.

Im not sure. By the time I got it home the dealership had closed for the day so I couldn’t ask.

I just watched a video someone put in another thread regarding a black battery clip. In that video the guy is walking through changing batteries in his JL. He mentioned he was changing the ASS(ESS) aux battery as well due to weird light anomalies. Given you just got a 24, if it’s been on the dealer lot most of 24 without being periodically charged. Could just be the aux battery failing. My main battery in my 24 was dead when I showed up to see and test drive it. Sales guy didn’t think to prep vehicle. So never got to test ride it. Just bought it and next day they put in a new battery and delivered it to me. No issues yet. 400+ miles now. 🤞

Likely battery. That aux battery seems to be a pita for a lot of owners. I had one fail in my 2020 but just impacted ESS. No issues in my 2024 ( also sat on a lot for a year)

These Jeeps sit on the lot without being driven for god only knows how long so the battery is slowly depleted. Take it back to the dealership.

Mine griped about aux switches not available due to batteries charging. That evening I removed the aux battery from the mix and popped out that one fuse. Haven't had any issues since and already have 1200 miles on it.

I'd agree with the others about it being related to your battery. If you have a battery tender , put that on for the night and see if it helps.

but first do a search on where to clip onto the battery posts. If you attach it to the wrong spot then you wont be charging the aux battery
