Not sure why yours look like that. When I hold up the flares to my fenders they align at the bottom of the front fenders.
Mine is a Sport S.
I’m hoping to find time this week to get mine installed
Because it’s a rubicon, the fender is a couple inches higher. Where the natural corner is in the flare matches the corner on the fender. And the corner is about 2” higher than a non rubicon fender.

well slap me silly ? still learning all these subtle differences. New to the Jeep universe. Thanks for the info.
I had to do a weird screenshot to wrap my mind around it. Kept looking at the bottom point, but now I see the higher clearance of the Rubi fender.

Yeah I did the same at first. My wife has a wrangler Sahara, and I noticed the difference when she got it a couple years ago sitting beside a rubicon. The first thing that caught my eye was the hood latches sticking into the fender.
I owned an 89 Sahara many moons ago, and then my wife wanted the one she has now, so I’ve been relearning all over again.

Ordered a set of the diode dynamics elite headlights. Can’t wait!! Just gotta wait 8-12 weeks unfortunately.
I missed getting them on the Black Friday sales, but when another sale comes up I’ll grab some yellow fogs and white driving lights.
The stock halogens are TERRIBLE!!
Nothing too exciting for updates yet.

Looks good bud. I like the white RB letters. They really pop with the white paint.
Finally installed the rears today. Flush with the bottom. A lot more work than the fronts were. ?

Yeah. For me it was to get the bend in the location I wanted it. Had to force them a bit since I didn’t cut them or heat them at all.
Good work!!

Nice ride! Congrats on scoring the JT diesel. Sounds like a long wait, but worth it for sure. Enjoy!

Ok, not much to report, but kinda going stir crazy with a blizzard that just hit us. So, time to see if I can wreck something. Decided to start on the stereo stuff that I can do. Trying to decide on how to position these mids and tweeters without doing a full on pillar build. If I don’t like this, I’ll go full pillars.

Wife’s happy I’m making a mess inside!
Just moved to a new house and the garage is not heated yet.

I havent worked on the JT yet but now that youve cut it up, I'd recommend pods or the pillar. ?

The windshield has so little pitch you wont get a lot of reflection at the driver, probably more from the roof actually. Maybe cut some rings and glass them at an angle from the dash.

GL, interested to see it all done.

Yeah I’ll get the rings cut and prop them up with some dowels. Then see how it looks. I don’t have any other equipment in the jeep yet since it’s still winter, so I can’t even test hear them for aiming.

Also, the wife doesn’t realize these are her grills!! I put the Terra Acoustics set in hers, so these are her old grills!
