First post, wishing that's all it was. I purchased a new 2025 Rubicon Gladiator this weekend. Got it on a Saturday 45 mins before they closed. It's a dream truck for me. I currently have a 2018 JK and have owned numerous other Jeeps in years past. First problem I had is when I tried to roll the driver's side window down. It gets stuck half way down and makes a clunk. I found this out after driving off the lot hours later. Second issue is the auto start/ stop works intermittently. Not that I don't like that, but wondering if there's more to this. Battery is new of course and AC not on high, it will just activate at random times. Third issue is a clinking noise when going in to reverse and/ or drive. I assume the U joints? It drives like a dream and I love everything about it, but I'm a little bummed about these issues. The dealer was informed and I will get it in for service ASAP. So glad to be a JT owner and be part of this forum.
Any thoughts on these problems?

Start with a notebook and write down your concerns and noises for when you take it back in for fixes. Sugar gets more flies than salt when dealing with service department. A few wild @@@ guesses the start stop might be due to fully depressed brake pedal and or the AC being on or other load on electric system. The only u-joints that I know of is in front axle ends. The drive shafts used repezel joints and carrier bearing (misspelled likely) the window I'm out totally on that. Mine is a 2020 and I have some "clunking" of driveline slop in axle / T-case / transmission from use, but not when it was new. FYI congratulations on your new vehicle.

I had a 2016 that had a click when going into drive only once on each trip heading home after work. Turned out to be the splines in the driveshaft eating each other.

Congratulations on your new truck.
I'm sure the dealer can handle the window problem and the driveline clunk. As for ESS, you could go to the ESS page by cycling through the steering wheel buttons. It will tell you why it it working, most of the time. It is possible you new battery was drained a few times. It's not like it was driven a whole bunch. If the ESS says "battery charging" or just " not ready". You can bring it to the dealers attention. If it mentions cabin heating or cooling, adust the temp closer to the ambient temp. That message should go away.
Good luck..

Don't scare the poor guy, he just bought the darned thing. 😂 probably just a Friday build of a three day weekend.
