Just installed a skyjacker lift and it came with the Black max shocks.

One of the shocks (mounted on passenger rear) was really hard to extend to length for install. I had to pull and twist left and right to get it to extend. The other 3 were just fine and extended out with a lot less resistance.

Now, the one that was harder is squeaking with every bump. After an hour of searching I can't find any real info on how these shocks should behave.

Thoughts and opinions? Do I have an abnormal shock here? Just keep tightening down the mounting bolt? The bushing has zero play in it.

SkyJacker didn't question me at all. Once I told them what was happening, they said. Yep, shouldn't be doing that. We'll send one out to you right away. Got it 3 days later, installed and all is good :)
