Well, the BFG is usually a 35 1/2 when it’s unmounted. These are that height, when mounted with the full weight of the jeep on them, and it only 30 psi.
That's not accurate, they are 35-1/2 mounted a 37 is, I had them on my JKU. They may be a little smaller on the JT but if you got a E Rated BFG I'd bet it would be 35-1/2 on the JT. My Geolanders are 36.3 mounted at 34 psi cold for reference.

Are you running 4.10 gears? If so do you get 8th gear?
His has to be lighter than my 37 12.5 17 Geolanders and I see 8th and average about 17.2 to 17.5 mpg on my Max tow with 4.10 gears. See video for what to expect roughly. I live in the Piedmont/ Foothills of NC about a hour and Half from The Smokies.

Had 35s before this. (Now for sale!) These feel and look way bigger.

Looks good OP. I'd like to move up to those full size pizza cutters after the winter, if my Falken 35's make it that long!

Love the endless debate about BFG being small lol so much entertainment. There must be a video out there that actually shows them unmounted at 36.5, just like so many other 37's haha. NO 37 is 37 under the weight of a rig unless they're inflated to 80psi under a Samurai haha

I went from san diego to northern AZ with a refrigerator and a queen size bed. The mountains sucked and i was trying to maintain 76-80 MPH. Plus i have 35 and stock gears ( i am sure that changed it a little) i rarely see better than 15 during the week too.

I love my 701s on mine! I got mine in the Bahia Blue. I think next time I may go to 11.5s to see if I can gain back a bit of fuel mileage. I drive 70+ miles per day.

I have a stock Mojave with 4.10 gears and Xtreme Recon take offs with 35s.

When I'm in CT (flat)I just leave it in Drive. When I get into NH and get into moderate hills, I put it in manual mode and just leave it in 7th. It's only turning 2500 rpm vs about 2050 in 8th. At 2500 rpm I can maintain 70-75 mph up and down hills without any trouble.

I've found this to be the most "calm" experience. If I leave it in drive, it will occasionally drop as low as 5th to get up a hill, with a jerk and then the screaming of the engine at 4000 rpm.

This is 100% fine for the engine. It just annoys me. Leaving it in 7th and running 2500 rpm is just more serene for me.
