Downhill descent control. I don't like mine. The grindings sound is offputting. Not sure who really likes these, but to each either own!

It’s is OFF-ROAD cruise control indicator. Push that button in 4WD. Put gear selector in M. Push the selector + or - to adjust speed in .6mph increments I believe.Can't find it in the owner's manual. Any help is appreciated.

I swear mine did not make that much noise the first time I used it, maybe even used it twice... but the last 2 times I have tried, that grinding noise made me shut that shit off quick. It does sound terrible and damaging, how common is this noise, anybody else experience it?

I went down this very rocky steep decline last week and my leg got tired applying the brake. I put in the downhill descent and it was very nice actually. All I had to do was steer. It's not appropriate for every scenario going downhill but in the one I was in the other day it really helped out.
